About CrispRD

CrispRD is a platform dedicated to CRISPR-Cas9 technology and its applications in research and innovation.

You will find:

  • a scientific and bibliographic watch featuring major updates and the latest advances in the field,

  • courses and practical tutorials to learn how to design, use, and analyze gene-editing experiments,

  • specialized expertise for researchers, companies, and institutions aiming to integrate or further develop CRISPR-Cas9 in their projects.

🎯 Goal: to provide reliable, structured, and accessible knowledge, while supporting the scientific community in making optimal use of this cutting-edge technology.

About me

I am a research engineer in biology, specialized in genome editing with a particular expertise in CRISPR-Cas9 technology.

After earning my PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Paris in 2017, I pursued a postdoctoral fellowship at Columbia University (New York), where I was trained in mastering this revolutionary technology.

I currently work at the French Blood Establishment (EFS) / INSERM, where I develop and apply CRISPR-Cas9 both for fundamental research and for the development of innovative diagnostic tools.

Recognizing the growing need for training in this field, I teach at the University of Paris, where I supervise practical courses for professional-track students. I also co-organize a week-long doctoral training program dedicated to introducing PhD students to CRISPR-Cas9. In this program, I specifically teach modules such as experimental design, guide RNA and ssODN design, and analysis of editing results. By the end of this training, young researchers are able to master CRISPR-Cas9 and, for example, efficiently generate knock-out (KO) or knock-in (KI) cell lines.
